Deliverable #2 - Website Design/Mock-up

This evening I was looking at different website templates and providers that have a simplistic template design. The features we are possibly after include:
- Easy to update
- Has a member section (teachers only, and students only)
- Mobile-ready
- Photo and media galleries
- Possibly have feedback and contact forms
- Free for the prototype stage
- Upgrades to package are available as project proceeds and grows
- Gives us the choice of preferred domain name
- Easy to navigate

On WordPress, I found the following 3 templates which fit the criteria above. Each comes with full details of what the template has to offer.

Radcliffe 2
Radcliffe 2 is a simple theme with a clean typography, created with entrepreneurs and small business owners in mind. With business-friendly options like a call-to-action button and prominent contact information, Radcliffe 2 is your foundation for a professional website. This template is free.

Maisha
Maisha is a versatile, easy-to-use theme inspired by the beautiful “Virunga” documentary. It offers a variety of customization options, including six blog layouts, two header layouts, and five-page templates. This opens up many possibilities to build sites that range from nonprofit and charity sites to premium blogs and more. The only issue is it isn't free. It costs $86 to use the design.

Pena
Pena is a modern theme offering a variety of customization options and page templates, and is designed with nonprofit and charity sites in mind. Like Maisha, this is not free. It costs $86 to use the design.

Sequential

Sequential is a contemporary, clean, and multi-purpose theme that helps you to create a strong — yet beautiful — online presence for your business. This template is free.

My favourite design so far is Maisha. I really like the simplistic look. It does come with a price and therefore, as a prototype at first, would not be suited for our purpose. The next one I really like is Radcliffe 2. This is also free which makes a more appealing and it has an appeal of easy navigation which could work best in our favour for the users of the site.
