Scope Components and Scope Project

The Scope Components are the building blocks for the planned Project Scope. The Project Scope is the overall plan for my Practice-based Change Project that I am to implement in Part 3 and are informed by Contemporary Teaching, Digital Fluency, Leadership in Practice and Collaboration in Practice.  Each of the Scope Components focuses on an important aspect of  my final Project Scope.  The Scope Components document was completed a total of 5 times. Each time a different section was the focus. Below is a copy of my final Scope Components and Scope Project document.

Deliverable #2 - Website Design/Mockup 2D Sketches

For the past couple of weeks, I have been thinking about and drafting the layout of the website. This hasn't been an easy task and many changes have occurred. I initially started by jumping straight into the website and playing around with templates. But this lead to confusion and uncertainty of what I was doing. I spoke to an IT specialist who has done some websites in his time. He offered to assist with coming up with the mockup design. All I had to do was provide some 2D sketches and have a sit down meeting with him to explain what I was actually after. The brief I have for him is as follows: - Easy to update - Has member sections for Students and Teachers - Is mobile ready and friendly - Feedback and contact can be made within the site - Humber, simple layout - Has keyword searches - Contains a resource gallery - Easy to navigate - Not too busy looking As I work through this process, the ideas above will change or have more requirements added. October Evidence of Collaboration

October was another busy month with collaboration among peers. It wasn't that I was busy with the Project Group, but more so with Ceylan regarding out Project. I was also busy with discussion regarding the website with my husband, Cory, who is my IT guru and go-to person.  Working with Cory has been really good. He knows what I want and what is needed. He also knows that we have limited to no budget for this project and therefore can point me in the right direction of platforms and hosts that would be best suited to our needs.  My Project Group did meet this past month, and again it was great to hear where they are all up to regarding our assignments. Deliverable #3 - Kete of Resources - Pre-Planning

Focus Curriculum Area for Mock-up and CoL Proposal Curriculum Area: Geometry - Shape High School level for Ceylan = L5 Primary School level for me = L3 Achievement Objectives: 1. Classify plane shapes and prisms by their spatial features.  2. Represent objects with drawings and models.  Learning Intentions to used are taken from eTap Spotlight which is used within the class and reporting to parents. As we are only doing Geometry: Shape, only the learning intentions that relate to this area will be used in the lessons. Images from eTap Spotlight are below of the Geometry Learning Intentions.
