Deliverable #1 - Design Brief

Today I decided to research into what a Website Design Brief was. I googled a number of sites and sifted through them. To my delight, Website Design Briefs is a quick outline of what a person is wanting as a website. Some templates were very in-depth which lead me to keep the Lean Canvas as my Design Brief. Some other templates lead me down the next path into the Website Design phase.
One of the Design Briefs I did like was the Website Brief found on https://project-brief.casual.pm/ . It was a very basic tool to use and was more like a tool to use for designing a website. I have chosen this particular brief desing to use as a planning tool for the design of the site.

I also looked into what a Lean Canvas was as I wanted to know if the Lean Canvas I had created served the purpose as a 'business plan' type model for my initial proposal. On a website called Ask Leanstack (http://ask.leanstack.com/en/articles/901274-what-is-a-lean-canvas), it described a Lean Canvas as a "1-page business plan template that helps you deconstruct your idea into key assumptions". A Lean Canvas is less bulky and is in a language that anybody can understand, not just business-minded people. It is adapted from Alex Osterwalder's Business Model Canvas and is a methodology to create and manage startups and get the desired product to customer's hands faster.  For me, it was the perfect template to use to map out my original idea for my Scope Project which can then be transferred easily to an Action Plan for implementation.

Here are the slight differences between a basic Business Model Canvas and the Lean Canvas. The business model uses business terms while the lean model uses product-centric terms:
